PROJECT DESCRIPTION
The essay documentary "Fischinger’s Walk" retraces the steps of the renowned experimental filmmaker Oskar Fischinger (1900-1967) between Munich and Berlin, as seen in his film München-Berlin Wanderung (1927, 3').
Following in the tradition of walkers such as Jean-Jacques Rousseau, Matsuo Bashō, Robert Walser, and Henry David Thoreau, it reflects upon the art of walking and Oskar Fischinger’s wanderings.
